When it comes to servicing your Ducati, we highly recommend that you schedule a genuine service by certified Ducati staff that have been trained to Ducati’s high standard, using the correct tools, and share the same love and care for your motorcycle.
The enjoyment of riding, reliability and maximum containment of maintenance costs are among the main criteria that drive every engineering project in Ducati. We have spread out services to intervals of 24,000 km and on some models the main Desmo Service is not necessary until 30,000 km. Even the simplest services, the Oil Service, have been spaced out to 12,000 km or 15,000 km, values that represent an absolute reference for high performance engines. Furthermore, Ducati continuously invests in the technical training of its dealership staff: only through the Official Ducati Service network will you find the skills and tools needed to carry out all those fundamental procedures that will ensure your Ducati continues to perform at the highest level.
Remember that the documentation supplied with your bike contains a lot of useful information: from the specific colour code, to advice on winter care, or details about key maintenance. You can download a digital version of your Maintenance and User Guide (and Spares Catalogue) from the side menu.
Ducati Guarantees all its bikes for a period of 24 months from registration, with unlimited mileage.
Three service coupons must be used to ensure continued validity of the conventional warranty Ducati offers consumers: at 1,000 km (or six months), 12,000 km (or 12 months) and 24,000 km (or 24 months), to be performed by any official Ducati workshop. In the case of the Hypermotard, Hypermotard SP and Hyperstrada bikes, starting with model year 2013, service coupons are for 1,000 km (or six months), 15,000 km (or 12 months) and 30,000 km (or 24 months). The warranty will be forfeited if the bike is repaired or overhauled by an unauthorised workshop, or if non-original parts are used; the warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, overloading and improper or negligent use, and does not apply to motorcycles used in sporting competitions of any type; motorcycles which are rented out are particularly subject to wear and damage as use and maintenance may not always be performed in accordance with the instructions in the Service Booklet.

Please note that the above general conditions of warranty offered by Ducati do not in any way compromise the mandatory rights of the physical person identified as the “consumer” under his or her own national legislation. The conventional warranty offered by Ducati therefore adds to and does not replace the warranty provided under the applicable legislation.
